Richard Aardsma

Integrity is the word that summarizes Rick’s work and success as a leader in the insurance industry. He has over three decades of experience as an Independent Insurance Agent, helping people safeguard their lives, assets and futures. The agency insures hundreds of churches, Christian schools and other related accounts, throughout Illinois and Indiana, and has done so since its beginning in 1987. The Aardsma Agency has received multiple awards including the Million Dollar Agency Award and Partners In Excellence Award for outstanding service to their clients.

Rick and his wife Judy live in Crown Point, Indiana and have three daughters Michelle, Katie and Stephanie. Over the years Rick has served the local church in many ways including leadership positions of: Deacon, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, Young Peoples Leader and Choir Member.  He enjoys woodworking, fishing and reading when time permits.

As a teacher and speaker, Rick considers himself a Church Board Advisor. He knows that every church has its own unique needs – therefore the solutions will also be unique. In fact, the solution may not require insurance at all. That is why Rick does not believe in “selling” churches insurance, but rather in educating his clients and letting them decide what coverage and price is best for their situation.
